This young royal just took fashion tips from Princess Catherine

In an effort that may have been reminiscent of Princess Catherine’s style, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium sported a yellow dress and large sunhat, just as the Princess of Wales did last summer at Wimbledon.

As much as we love to fawn over Princess Catherine’s eternally inspiring sense of style, there are plenty of other royals out there who similarly have an amazing wardrobe. From Queen Letizia of Spain and her white A-line skirt and waistcoat, to Princess Mary of Denmark’s colorful boho maxi skirt, it’s definitely true that the British royals aren’t the only ones with style.

Another up and coming royal fashionista is Princess Elisabeth of Belgium at 21-years-old. While attending the Deum mass in the Cathedral on July 21 in Brussels, Belgium for National Day, the young Princess donned a floor-length, gorgeous yellow gown, as well as a large, floppy straw sunhat – and we couldn’t help but think that it was totally giving Princess Catherine energy.

The Belgian royal’s yellow dress boasted classy cap sleeves, and she paired the beautiful gown with nude heels and a pair of drop earrings, as well as that huge hat of course.

Similarly, last summer at Wimbledon, Kate Middleton wore a similar outfit, consisting of an ankle-length yellow dress

Monsoon Fashion Tips to Beat the Rain

Dressing stylishly during the monsoon season can be a challenge due to the unpredictable weather and frequent rain showers. However, with a little planning and some fashion tips, you can stay chic and comfortable even in the rain. Here are some monsoon fashion tips to help you beat the rain in style:

1. Opt for Light Fabrics: Choose clothing made from lightweight and breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, or quick-drying synthetics. These materials will keep you cool and dry during humid spells and dry faster if you get caught in a downpour.

2. Go for Waterproof Outerwear: Invest in a good-quality waterproof or water-resistant jacket or raincoat. Look for stylish options that complement your wardrobe and keep you dry during heavy rain.

3. Play with Colours: Embrace bright and vibrant colours to add cheer to gloomy rainy days. Bright shades can help uplift your mood and create a fun contrast against the grey skies.

4. Waterproof Footwear: Ditch your regular leather or suede shoes during the monsoon and opt for waterproof or rubber footwear like rain boots or jelly shoes. They will protect your feet from getting wet and muddy.

5. Carry an Umbrella: Don’t forget to accessorize with a chic umbrella that matches your outfit. A good umbrella not only shields you from the rain but can also add a touch of style to your look.

6. Crop Pants and Capris: Instead of wearing full-length trousers or jeans, consider cropped pants or capris. They are a practical choice during the monsoon as they won’t drag through puddles and mud.

7. Maxi Dresses and Skirts: Flowy maxi dresses and skirts are a great option for monsoon chic. They keep your legs covered while offering comfort and ease of movement.

8. Avoid Denim: Denim takes a long time to dry,

“In the summer I wear two things, and two things only,” she said.

“Big bottom, little top, or big top, little bottom.”

To demonstrate, Sophie wore a cute halterneck crop top with a denim maxi skirt.

Elegant fashion tips I learned from ‘old money’ – a certain blouse is a must-have, & the style to wear when in doubt

A FASHIONISTA has revealed her inspiration for a super classic and elegant look.

She said she learned from “old money” and central to her stylish wardrobe was a certain blouse.

No self-respecting clothes fan should be without it she wrote because it will be worn again and again.

“Five fashion tips I learned from old money,” said Elisabeth (@theelegantbride).

This stylish lady has over 64,000 followers and her TikTok is dedicated to “Fashion and elegance.”

In her tiktok.com/@theelegantbride/video/7190459993945083142″post, she paraded a series of looks to demonstrate her theory.

“When in doubt, go monochrome,” she said of tip number one, explaining her key point.

She then proceeded to model a number of outfits that were a lesson in neutral tones.

She wore a calf-length, long-sleeved knitted dress, with cream ankle boots and an umber-colored shoulder bag, accessorized with gold hoop earrings and a bracelet.

Her second tip was: “Pleated skirts will add a feminine touch.”

This look comprised a white blouse and a black and white checked pleated skirt with matching tan shoes and a handbag.

Next up was a wardrobe staple, the blazer. They are, said Elizabeth for her third tip, “your best friend.”

She wore the same shoes, handbag, and white shirt but this time matched them with a mini pleated skirt and hip-length blazer.

For her fourth tip, she urged viewers to make it part of their capsule wardrobe: “A well-fitting blue blouse is a must-have,” she said.

The blue shirt was tucked casually into cream-flared trousers with the same shoes and handbag again.

Finally, she went for a more dressed-down look of tight black

The fashion guru shared the self-affirming tip on what it takes to fit in with the gorgeous RHONY ladies at a Season 14 premiere event, held July 12. All six of the women on the revamped franchise bring their own style to the table.

“We just are all so different. I dress down and I kind of got called out for it because I’m wearing jeans and T-shirts and denim shirts half the time,” Jenna shared. “We went on a trip and I bought like seven white shirts and they were like, ‘Are you kidding me?’”

The former president of J.Crew, who now helms the beauty brand LoveSeen, may gravitate toward a classic white shirt, but her high-end wardrobe has plenty of glamor too. Jenna recently showed off her custom closet, complete with its rows and rows of shoes making it the envy of the city, in a tour of her renovated SoHo home.

A beginner’s guide to buying vintage clothes: Tips on how to shop for the real deal

Still, it makes sense to carefully check their condition before you purchase them. Ang suggested thoroughly inspecting the garment for stains, holes, or other damage such as in the zippers and fastenings, for example.

It’s not uncommon, however, to come across pieces with some minor flaws. “Vintage clothes have been around for a while – some wear and tear are inevitable. “Such pieces are still stocked, usually because, they have value in terms of its design and style, or sometimes rarity, despite the flaws,” she explained.

What kind of flaws are acceptable then? That is entirely up to you. When one chances upon a rare gem or a piece they really like, some small imperfections (like a missing embellishment or a few loose stitches) are unlikely to diminish their enjoyment and appreciation of it. True vintage lovers embrace them as part of the clothing’s unique character and history.

CONSIDER MAKING ALTERATIONS

It’s a misconception that all vintage clothing sizes run smaller than modern-day standards. Even if that may be true to some extent, you should still be able to find a wide range of sizes at a good vintage clothing store – it’s just that every piece is singular, and whether the size a particular piece is in fits you or not is a matter of chance.

“Our vintage clothing is handpicked from the United States and Europe, and comes in all kinds of sizes, from XXS to XXL. To ensure an individual, customised fit, alterations and resizing services are also available in-store,” shared Yeo.
