A 37-year-old mother of two boys and the wife of Anthony Grable, who is the owner and operator of All Clean Professional Carpet Cleaning, Jessica Grable says that she has always had a passion for fashion. She says that said passion dates back to an early age, recalling a particular store from her childhood and the memories she made there.
“I can remember that my best time was spent on Saturdays going shopping with my mother and sister to a store called the 7-dollar store,” Jessica Grable recalls. “I would always imagine owning a store just like this one. So many beautiful clothes and shoes as well as jewelry all in one.”
Due to that passion, Grable explained that she considered opening a store of her own several times.
In 2018, the lives of Jessica Grable and her family were forever altered when Jessica received a Lupus diagnosis. As a result, she found herself with a limited ability to work. Grable decided it was finally time to make her lifelong dream of owning her own store come true for herself and her family. She says that with the blessing of God and support from her family, that dream is now reality with the opening of J’s Fashion & More.
Being from Milledgeville, she felt that it was only right to open J’s Fashion & More here.
“I wanted to bring something to the community that we didn’t have. Some different merchandise for the people,” Grable remarked. In her words, Grable says that being able to help the community through her business has brought her joy. She emphasized that it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get to this point, where J’s Fashion & More has received great support and feedback from the community. the business is also preparing to open at its new location at 1021 South Elbert St. on March 18, 2023.
J’s Fashion & More caters to both women and men and has an inventory that Jessica Grable says can meet your needs for any occasion. The business carries clothing in sizes up to 3X, and they also have jewelry, eyelashes, sunglasses, and shoes as well as Cologne and Perfume.
So, what makes them stand out from other shops? It is probably best to let Grable tell you herself:
“J’s Fashion is different because when shopping with us, your experience will be like no other,” Grable explains “We promote originality and with our selection of clothing you will be able to design your own original styles. We also understand our customers and are willing to go the extra mile to get what you need.”
At the official grand opening of J’s Fashion & More at their new location on March 18 at 3 p.m., there will be door prizes, free food and up to 50% off of selected items.
There are plenty of things that Jessica Grable enjoys about running her business.
“I enjoy the freedom to think outside the box. Bringing ideas to life, creating generational wealth, but most of all endless opportunity” She also adds that she cannot express enough how grateful she is whenever someone comes in and shops at J’s Fashion & More. The business, Grable said, is committed to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. “We hope to create a shopping experience that will fill all customers’ wants and needs,” Grable states “I hope to have positive feedback from my community.”
When it comes to why she continues to do what she does every day, and what keeps her going, it is simple, but powerful for Grable.
“I do what I do for my family. My husband, sons, and brother support me in whatever venture I pursue, whether I succeed or fail, they are there, and I will do whatever necessary to keep what we have solid and prosperous.”
J’s Fashion & More will open at their new location on 1021 S Elbert St on March 18 and their hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6:30 p.m.. You can also visit the businesses Facebook page for more information.
