Alia Bhatt’s makeup is always minimal. So when she chose to go all out glamm, I had to make a note. The Gangubai Kathiawadi lead attended an awards show and brought ‘sexy’ back with a bronze makeup look. 

Her makeup features bronze eyeshadow, bronzed skin, and a glossy lip. She totally slayed the look and still managed to make it appear minimal, even though it is quite bold for her.

Step 1: Velvet Matte Skin

Alia’s skin is soft and matte as opposed to the cult-loved dewy finish these days. I’ve used a mattifying primer to blur out my pores and then blended on a matte foundation that also offers skincare.

Step 2: Chiselled Visage

Her face looks expertly contoured. A cream-based contour product works best for that. I prefer to use a foundation stick in a darker shade because it is easy to blend.

Step 3: Bronze Eyes

Now for the winning feature of her makeup – the eyes. Alia has a bronze eyeshadow blended across her lids and a glittery nude eyeshadow applied at the inner corners and along the crease of her lids. The look is completed with a thin line of kajal on her water lines and mascara.
