THEY say beauty hurts – and that was definitely the case for one wedding guest who ignored the invitation’s instructions.
She decided to put fashion first – and paid the price.
The guest could be seen having a hard time walking to the venue.
And she only had herself to blame.
“The wedding invite said no heels,” said Garrett Lexell (@garrettlexell).
The jokester’s sister clearly missed the memo as she awkwardly tried to walk on the rocky gravel without tripping in what looked like to be at least three-inch heels.
“My sister had to learn the hard way. A golf cart eventually picked us up,” explained Garrett.
Still, his sister, who was wearing a short, burgundy-colored dress, was all smiles as she tried her best not to fall before being rescued.
This follower had some advice for the wedding guest: “I would have done wedges. Easy to walk in and still heels.”
Others wanted to know how people worked around the wedding’s dress code.
“I’m curious as to what kind of footwear people were wearing. What else would you wear with that dress?” she asked.
“A lot of women wound up wearing heels, surprisingly. But a decent amount of cowboy boots, too,” he replied.
